Mr. Padam Raj Joshi is an experienced Faculty Member, Psychologist, Child Psychologist, Certified Counseling Supervisor, and Mental Health Professional in Nepal since 2003 A.D. He has experience in psychology, counseling, mental health services, Stress Management, Positive Psychology, TET, and PET influenced expert. He holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with clinical Specialization and is currently a Ph.D. Scholar in Mental Health and Leadership from the Central Department of Psychology, Tribhuvan University.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Joshi has dedicated himself to supporting individuals facing psychological, emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. While he has extensive experience providing psychological counseling and mental health interventions, his current professional focus is on counseling supervision, counselor development, and strengthening the quality of counseling services in Nepal. He works closely with counselors and mental health practitioners who regularly provide services to clients, helping enhance ethical practice, clinical skills, and professional growth. He earned a Master of Training of Trainers (TOT) from UNOCHR in 2006 A.D.
Mr. Joshi serves as a Visiting Faculty at the Central Department of Psychology, Padmakanya Multiple Campus, Bagbazaar, and in counseling psychology in Masters level. As a Child Psychologist and Mental Health Trainer, he has completed the Clinical Basic Supervision Course from Iris. Vision Training Institute, Ireland, further strengthened and Advanced level Professional Supervisor from ACA. In the duration of 2005 A.D. – 2016 A.D. He has served as a Child Psychologist at Planet Enfants and many other organizations and benefited thousands of people through individual psychotherapies, Family Therapy, and relationship therapy. Now he acts as a Professional Supervisor in and out services for many Novice as well as intermediate counselors.
In addition to his academic and clinical work, Mr. Joshi has conducted research on youth and psychology and presented a paper on the Fundamental Right to Health at the Youth and Students Festival in South Africa (2010). He has been actively involved with various youth-focused organizations and NGOs and has facilitated numerous workshops and trainings on life skills development, stress management, mental well-being, public speaking, leadership development, study habits, and psychosocial support. His extensive experience in psychology, counseling supervision, mental health training, and youth development makes him a valuable resource for individuals and professionals seeking quality mental health and counseling services in Nepal.
